Alkalize
If you find that your energy level is low and you're getting sick often, maybe it's time to look at what you eat and its affect on your well being. Maybe its time for you to alkalize your system. Alkalizing is the process of modifying your eating to increase your body's pH balance. The closer your pH is to 7.0, the better you will feel. Here is alkalize.
Instructions
1. Test your body's pH level to determine whether or not you need to alkalize your system. Read the instructions on the pH test paper to learn test your pH level.
2. Write down your pH level. If your level is below 7.0, then you should alkalize your system.
3. Find out which foods promote the proper pH. Using your favorite search engine, put in a search for "alkalizing food chart." You will find many websites that offer detailed information and charts on foods that will help to alkalize your system. Similarly, avoid those foods that promote an acidic system. Ideally aim to eat 80 percent alkalizing foods and 20 percent acid-forming foods.
4. Reduce stress. Daily stresses promote an acidic reaction in your body. Things such as meditation, prayer, yoga and exercise help to reduce stress and thus reduce acid reactions.
5. Get adequate sleep.
