Most candy is full of high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors, both of which are very unhealthy. But candy doesn't always have to be bad for you, as is the case with organic candy. Organic candy uses real fruit juice and sugar cane for flavor and sweetness. Fun organic candy isn't reserved for ginger chews; some of the most popular candies can be made naturally. Organic Lollipops
Lollipops have two components, a stick and a piece of hard candy. Using the stick as a handle, you can lick or suck on the candy without getting your hands sticky. Organic lollipops come in a large variety of flavors: grape, cherry, strawberry, apple, pomegranate, mango, blueberry and watermelon. The ingredients in organic lollipops are organic evaporated cane juice, organic tapioca syrup or organic rice syrup, citric acid from beet sugar and natural flavors. Depending on the flavor, organic lollipops may contain black carrots, black currant, apple, carrot and pumpkin.
Organic Gummies
There is an organic style of gummi for every nonorganic gummi. Whether it's gummi worms, gummi bears, sour gummies or any other animal-shaped gummi, the organic versions are just as sweet as their fructose-induced predecessors. Most organic gummies also are gluten-free. Ingredients of organic gummies are corn malt syrup, evaporated cane juice, lemon, apple, red beet, apricot and carrot juice concentrates, spinach powder, apple pectin, citric acid, natural fruit flavors, carnauba wax from palm trees and expeller-pressed sunflower oil.
Organic Cotton Candy
Organic cotton candy is made from evaporated cane juice. The colors and flavors are all natural, as opposed to the refined sugar and artificial colors and flavors in nonorganic cotton candy. Organic cotton candy offers unusual flavors like bubblegum, cinnamon, licorice, root beer and maple. The ingredients of organic cotton candy are organic evaporated cane juice, natural flavors and natural colors.
