There is an activity for everyone in New York City.
New York City offers an endless list of activities. From restaurants and Broadway shows, to helicopter tours and museums, choosing what to do can be a challenge. However, gravitating towards events and venues that are less conventional than the common tourist attraction narrows down your list considerably and ensures that your experience in the "Big Apple" is a memorable one.
Watson Adventures Scavenger Hunts
Watson Adventures organizes 90 minute and two-hour scavenger hunts that take players through Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Ellis Island. Participants are required to answer a list of questions that pertain to a particular place located along the hunt's route. Scavenger hunts take place in popular locations such as Central Park, the Bronx Zoo and China Town. Small groups, company teams, schools and social groups are invited to sign-up and participate. In the event of bad weather, indoor scavenger hunts are also available at museums and Grand Central Station.

Hookah Bars
An extension of Indian and Middle Eastern culture, a hookah bar is a lounge that sells shisha or flavored tobacco from a communal hookah. Most hookah bars in Manhattan are concentrated in the Lower East Side or Alphabet City, though a few are located in Brooklyn and Queens. In addition to serving cocktails and appetizers, hookah lounges give patrons the opportunity to socialize and smoke hookah flavors ranging from jasmine and watermelon, to vanilla and pineapple. Some hookah bars, such as Cozy Cafe Hookah Lounge in the Lower Eastside, give live belly-dancing performances.
