Remove Stains

Everyone deals with stains at one time or another. Different stains require different removal methods. Knowing some basics will help you and your family stay stain free. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Mix a paste of one part color safe bleach to one part ammonia. Apply to deodorant stains and let stand for 30 minutes. Wash the clothing in the warmest water allowed.


2. Soak clothing in cold water and detergent for 30 minutes before washing. This stain removal method is best for blood stains. Wash on cold water setting and repeat if necessary before drying.


3. Use a pre-wash stain remover on cream or milk stains. Let stand for 10 minutes and then wash according to the instructions on the care tab.


4. Try an enzyme pre-soak on grass stains. Let stand for 30 minutes. Then, wash the fabric with detergent and bleach that is safe for the material. Check the label if you are uncertain.


5. Rinse mud stains with cold water and then add a paste of detergent and water. Let stand 30 minutes and then wash in cold water. Repeat if necessary before drying the garment.
