Use a nightly skin care regimen to diminish the signs of aging.

Turn the signs of aging around with simple anti-aging eye packs, night creams and facials you can whip up at home. Use natural, organic products like coconut oil, shea butter and cucumber to defend against premature aging. Homemade treatments for wrinkles can be whipped up in the comfort of your own kitchen with ingredients for purchase at your local organic grocers, food markets and herbal suppliers. Does this Spark an idea?

Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

Shea butter is one of Africa's most sustainable natural resources. Naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F, this powerful butter can provide skin with collagen to assist in diminishing wrinkles and other signs of aging. Vitamin F contains essential fatty acids, and helps protect and revitalize damaged skin. Use as a nightly moisturizer. Cut a sliver of whole shea butter off a block, then gently massage it into your skin. Shea butter melts at body temperature, for a smooth, silky wrinkle-fighting moisturizer.

Anti-Aging Eye Pack

Reduce the effects of wrinkles caused by tired, puffy eyes and brighten your skin with the water-based properties of vegetables. Cucumber or potato eye packs can soothe skin and reduce wrinkles. Create small cheesecloth packs to set on eyes, then lay back, relax and soothe away irritation. Cut two square pieces of cheese cloth and wet. Peel a cucumber or potato, and grate the vegetable onto the cloths. Tie them into bundles with string and place in the freezer for 10 minutes. Place on your eyelids for 15 minutes or as long as you like.

Tightening Facial

Whip up a tightening facial and reduce wrinkles with fresh peaches and egg whites. You will need one ripe peach, peeled and pitted, one egg white and a blender. Place the peach and egg white into the blender, and blend until smooth. Layer the mask onto your face with your fingertips and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water and let your face air dry; this will prevent disturbing the skin's mantle, ensuring your skin soaks in all of the benefits.

Facial for Mature Skin

Fight existing wrinkles on mature skin and help restore your own natural beauty, vitality and brightness with vitamins and minerals. You will need 2 tsp. of plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp. of organic honey, 1/2 tsp. of fresh, squeezed lemon juice, five drops of coconut essential oil and two capsules of vitamin E. Combine the yogurt, honey, lemon juice and coconut oil in a bowl. Pierce the vitamin E capsules, fold the liquid vitamin E into the bowl and mix. Layer onto your face with your fingertips, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and let air dry.
