Remove Stains From Scanpan Cookware

Remove stains from your Scanpan Cookware with ease.

As with other pots, pans and skillets, Scanpan Cookware can be stained over time during the cooking process. Food sticks to the bottom of the cookware, often leaving a hideous stain that might seem impossible to remove. The stains, however, can be removed with a quick, easy cleaning routine that can keep your cookware looking brand new. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Wash your cookware with hot water and dish detergent. Place the cookware in the sink with 1 gallon of hot water and squirt of dish detergent, then scrub with a nylon scouring pad. The nylon material will scrub efficiently without scratching the surface.

2. Rinse the cookware with hot water, then place on the stove. Turn the stove burner on high heat.

3. Pour water and vinegar into the cookware, using 1 Tbsp. vinegar per 1 cup water. Use enough liquid to submerge the entire stain.

4. Allow the water to come to a boil, and let boil for 5 minutes.

5. Discard the water, and scrub the stained area once more with a nylon scouring pad.
