Use Rosemary Oil To Get Rid Of Ticks

Rosemary is an herb that is also used for seasoning food.


Ticks are parasites that can cause serious health problems for animals and humans alike. Some of the more well-known diseases that can be transmitted by ticks include Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. If you spend time outdoors, you may need to consider protecting yourself against ticks. One means of repelling ticks is rosemary oil, a gentle, inexpensive substance. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Purchase some rosemary essential oil. You can find this product at drug stores, health stores and online health and beauty businesses.


2. Soak a cotton ball with some of the rosemary oil.


3. Dab the oil around your shoes, socks and ankles, which are places that ticks are likely to approach initially.


4. Dab more oil onto other parts of your body and clothing if you wish.


5. Place cotton balls soaked in rosemary essential oil around your yard and home to repel ticks. Place these soaked cotton balls around pets' bedding as well to help protect your pets.
